1 What is a Book Review?
In short, a book review is a written work that summarizes the plot of a book without revealing too much and then discusses non-plot aspects of the book, such as themes. A book review is an almost even mix of plot summarization and commentary (opinion) on the writing.

3 How Often Do I Need to Write a Book Review in English Class?top
Usually you'll need to produce an original book review about every month and a half throughout the school year. For the most part, we read fiction in ninth grade, but you can always make a deal with Mr. Stratton if you'd like to read something from a different genre.

- type your full name in the subject field,
- press send.
